da bet sport： Loads of Aston Villa fans on Twitter have blasted former midfielder Fabian Delph after a video of one of his classic goals was posted by the Premier League.
The clip, shared the Villans on their own Twitter account, featured the 18-cap England international’s famous wonder strike in the match at Southampton in early December 2014 and was tweeted out as part of the Goal of the Day series.
However, some Villa supporters were in no mood to reminisce about a happy memory and used it as an opportunity to hit out at Delph.
They are clearly still bitter about the 29-year-old’s move from the club to Manchester City despite it occurring almost four years ago – football fans never forget after all.
The one-time English top flight champion famously pledged his future to the then Premier League team before undergoing a complete u-turn and rocking up at the Etihad Stadium just weeks later, and has since been known to the Villa Park faithful as a snake.
