da betsul: Its always a raucous affair when Arsenal visit Stoke, but the crowd seemed to be particularly rowdy under the lights in the Potteries today, as we saw a pretty uneventful first-half between two sides who have excited us throughout this campaign.
da 888: Twitter, and the rivalry between the two fan bases, was awoken by the first-half, although many of us were on our way back to sleep by the time the half-time whistle came around.
A stunning save from Giroud had Stoke fans giddy about their ‘keeper’s England prospects once more, for a start.
On the other hand, we had quite a few Arsenal fans really mortified at missing Ozil.
We think Gunnerblog is pushing it a bit..
And, most importantly, everyone was on hand to remind us that Jon Walters messed up again.
There was, as ever, a pretty distasteful moment when Stoke fans decided to complain at Ramsey for having this leg broken.. Twitter wasn’t a happy place.
No James, probably isn’t appropriate..
For those of you who know of the Ramsey curse, this is a bit much.
But, aside from the nasty stuff, Arsenal fans are finally realising that Walcott is having an absolutely shocking season.
Including the generic question of whether he is playing..
The undoubtedly most important tweet of the first half was this cracking chant from the Gunners’ fans.
