da bet esporte: Tottenham face their second Manchester test in the space of six days as they host City on Sunday.
da esport bet: A 3-0 defeat at City’s neighbours United on Monday wasn’t the way boss Harry Redknapp had planned to start the 2011/12 campaign. The scoreline didn’t do Spurs justice though as they squandered numerous chances whilst the Red Devils were at their clinical best. Redknapp will be hoping his side are bursting at the seams to right the wrongs of Monday night and take out their frustrations on City. It will be a tough ask with seven first team players out injured which could mean another start for the inexperienced Jake Livermore in midfield. Luka Modric is still missing as is Peter Crouch leaving the Spurs boss with limited options against a team who have enough players to field two teams at White Hart Lane.
City are unbeaten so far and have Samir Nasri ready to make his debut after he completed his £25 million move from Arsenal. Who the Frenchman will replace in Roberto Mancini’s starting line up is a difficult one with James Milner, Yaya Toure, David Silva and Sergio Agüero all starring in their opening games. The Italian is the envy of every manager in the Premier League with the superstars at his disposal but keeping every player happy will prove to be an unwelcome problem for the City boss. Nigel de Jong is out with a foot injury and Nasri is likely to step in for him although that would mean pushing Toure back into a holding role despite his success as an attacking midfielder.
With City rampant at the moment and Spurs suffering from an early season injury crisis there is only one winner in this game for me.
Key Players
[player_profile slug=”rafael-van-der-vaart” align=”left”]Rafael Van Der Vaart – The Dutchman is key to Spurs’ attacking game and will have to be bang on form if they are going to take anything from this game. With Jermain Defoe up front his job will be to provide him with the ammo to gun down City.

[player_profile slug=”edin-dzeko” align=”left”]Edin Dzeko – It’s been a miraculous turnaround from the big Bosnian who was hopeless last season. He’s scored in every game this season and is finally starting to look every inch a £27 million striker. Will face a tough afternoon up against Michael Dawson though
