da aviator aposta: Turkish striker Semih Senturk is the newest name to be added to Tottenham’s long list of supposed transfer targets.
da pinup bet: The Fenerbache front-man is set to arrive in London for talks with Spurs over a possible move as Harry Redknapp looks to bring a new forward to the club.
Senturk has spent his entire career with Fenerbache since making his Turkish league debut in 2000. He has a decent strike rate with both Fenerbache and the Turkish national team, averaging a goal in every three games for each.
Senturk, who has six months left on his contract, made a name for himself with his impressive displays in Euro 2008 and and has recently indicated that he will not be extending his stay with the Turkish giants. It is thought that Spurs are at the front of the queue to sign Senturk and that a loan deal in January is likely to precede a permanent move in the summer.
Harry Redknapp knows that he needs to off-load some fringe players before any new signings can be made and the likes of Robbie Keane, Jamie O’Hara and David Bentley are all likely to be moving on in January.
