West Ham United have been given a massive boost in their pursuit of Manchester United attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard, after the Red Devils reduced their asking price for the England international [Daily Star].
Enjoying a superb loan spell on loan in East London during the second half of the 2020/21 campaign, Lingard registered 14 goal contributions in 19 appearances; nine goals and five assists [Transfermarkt].
Now, he could have a decision to make on his future following recent reports.
Manchester United have reduced his price-tag from £35 million to just £20 million, leaving the door ajar for a return to the London Stadium for the Carrington youth product [Daily Star].
