da jogodeouro: Bournemouth’s David Brooks has committed his long-term future to the club, signing a new deal that will ensure the likes of Spurs and Manchester United – both have been linked with a move for the young Welshman – will not be allowed to pick the best of the Cherries.
The former Sheffield United man has been extremely impressive in his debut season in the Premier League – he completed the switch to the Vitality Stadium in the summer – and has chalked up six goals and four assists as he becomes a fixture in Eddie Howe’s starting XI.
The 21-year-old midfielder has added some much needed creative spark to the Bournemouth midfield and his versatility will be a huge asset to Howe and co going forward.

Some Bournemouth fans on Twitter were obviously thrilled that the starlet would be plying his trade with the Dorset-based outfit for the foreseeable future but others think that the deal is just to increase his sale price in the summer as the club look to take big strides off the pitch…
