Indeed, the fans were left fuming with the referee’s performance after a number of vital decisions went against the Yorkshire club.
The Elland Road faithful weren’t coy when discussing Darren England on social media.
To be fair to Leeds fans, there were a number of instances that did go against them.
Of course, the most telling decision that the man in the middle made was to award the visitors a penalty.
However, a number of fans believed that the spot-kick should never have been given due to the fact the ball had apparently gone out of play in the build-up to the foul.
Another incident that England made the wrong call on was early in the first half.
United were piling the pressure on Millwall at 1-0, and Bartosz Bialkowski made a great save to keep the Lions ahead, but for some reason, the ref awarded a goal kick rather than a corner.
The referee would go on to make a further blunder in the first-half as a Millwall defender appeared to handle the ball in the box, but no penalty was given.
In other news, Leeds may have one Premier League star to thank for their latest addition.
