McTominay looks like a run in a Premier League first team might really push him on. Alongside Luka Milivojevic, he might be able to show more of his creative talents. At 6ft 4in, McTominay has real power in his bursts forward.
A loan replacement for a loan player, McTominay might also make financial sense for Palace to bring in.
Jake Livermore
Relegated with West Bromwich Albion last season, Livermore is nonetheless a very capable Premier League player and has been on the fringes of Gareth Southgate’s England set up.
5ft 11in Livermore also has the energy that Loftus-Cheek had and Palace should easily be able to lure the midfielder to Selhurst Park with the attraction of Premier League football that may see him force his way back into the Three Lions reckoning.
Badou Ndiaye
Energetic Stoke City midfielder Ndiaye would be a useful replacement for Loftus-Cheek.
The Eagles have reportedly shown interest in the Senegalese midfielder in this transfer window. Ndiaye attracted attention whilst playing in Turkey for Galatasaray, and was signed by the Potters for £14m in January. He is another positive midfielder, who is would use the stability of Milivojevic behind him to burst forward.
If Stoke plan to recoup their transfer spend on Ndiaye, this may be an expensive solution, but the 27-year-old is on his prime and could make an immediate impact in South London.
