da dobrowin:
da stake casino: PFA chief Gordon Taylor has stated that Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra should shake hands and forget about the racism scandal that has blighted the sport over the last number of months.
The Liverpool attacker racially abused the Manchester United defender in a clash between the sides back in October, and Suarez has just returned from an eight-match ban after being found guilty of the charges by the FA.
Taylor, who has been critical of Suarez’s behaviour, has urged an end to the conflict and for the players to put the incident behind them.
“I would hope that would take place, that would be a sign that having gone through the situation that those two players would shake hands and we can move on,” the executive told Sky Sports.
“If they can accept that having paid that penalty, like Suarez has, that you learn from it and move on.
“That’s the only chance we’ve got, if we can do that.
“If you keep things festering it will only exacerbate how the problem was initially, and in that way we will be losing the battle,” the concluded.
Liverpool and Manchester United meet at Old Trafford on Saturday, with the duo set to come face-to-face for the first time since the scandal unfolded.
