da gbg bet: Reliable West Ham United insider ExWHUemployee mentioned on Episode 109 of ‘The West Ham Way’ radio show this week that the club were targeting a potential January move for Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, but their hopes may have suffered a huge setback following his latest display.
What’s the word, then?
Well, ExWHUemployee mentioned the 22-year-old as a potential transfer target on the show with Manuel Pellegrini keen to strengthen his squad, and it seemed like a real possibility with the England international struggling for first-team football under Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge this term.

While he has only played 33 minutes in the Premier League thus far, he was handed a start by the Italian in the Europa League clash at home to BATE Borisov on Thursday night, and he produced a brilliant performance that was capped off with a hat-trick in the 3-1 win.
The 6ft 3in midfielder may have been on the fringes previously, but he may have forced his way into his manager’s plans with his latest showing.
Could West Ham still sign him?
It has surely become more difficult now.
While Loftus-Cheek has largely found himself behind Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley in the pecking order in the English top flight so far during the current campaign, his latest goalscoring display is going to leave Sarri thinking where he can fit him into the XI.

The former Napoli chief admitted after the win on Thursday that he is struggling to find a spot for the 22-year-old, but with the congested fixture list over the next couple of months he is surely going to get his fair share of minutes and therefore it will be more difficult for West Ham to tempt him away.
The promise of that could be enough to make the Three Lions man stay and try and make an impression over the course of the rest of the season, as he will feel that he can have a long-term future at the Bridge.
